(See Zone System). Zone -- (See Striker, Reverse Striker, SOB, Back Striker). Zone Sales Co. -- An old, defunct advertising specialty company located in Delray Beach, FL that sold match books. Zone System -- A USPS addressing requirement instituted on May 1, 1943, and terminated on June 30, 1963. It was used to help facilitate mail delivery. Zundholzer -- The German word for matches. Zundholzreklame -- A European matchcover manumark from Switzerland.
